Additional suggested readings to better understand the origin of sexual abuse and abusive behaviors

Please read with an open mind, knowing that all will not apply to you, but that messages may be found in all the readings. We do not suggest that this is an exclusive nor all inclusive list, but we do know it has been helpful to many. Please let us know what you find helpful. We list these books and pamphlets as suggestions and do not have the means to send them to you.

There are no central set of rules that can be followed for sending to books to a loved one who is incarcerated. We recommend that you review the information at Books 2 Prisons, which provides information regarding the rules of sending books to facilities in each state in the U.S.

Recommendations for additional titles are welcome and can be submitted by using our Contact Us page here. We are particularly interested in more recent titles.

Clicking on book titles will take you to a suggested supplier, (opens in a new window). Where possible, we have provide a reference for the author(s).
